II. NEAR Earth-Swingby data. These data were not under review. the discussion produced the following suggestions for these data sets. Provide a top-level description of what is in each of the files so users can find what they need. For the images, provide pixel scale, grouping status, processing history, and latitude and longitude of image center. (Also mentioned above for Mathlide images.) Add a document (such as an index) with imaging objectives, sequence planning, resolution and/or range, and maybe thumbnail images. It was agreed that the binary table format (as opposed to ascii tables) is acceptable for these data files due to long line lengths. If possible, choose better names for the FITS keywords in the FITS #eaders. Understandable names rather than numbers. An index to the data would be very valuable since it is harder to browse a binary table. III. NEAR Mathlide Radio Science The filenaming convention is described incorrectly in the documentation. This should be corrected. Also, in the filenames, the year is encoded by a single digit of calendar year or years since start of mission, or whatever it is. Add descriptive text at the top to tell users where to find the information they need, and what is in all the directories and files. Also tell where to find the final answer, i.e. the mass of Mathlide. Remove the section in the data set catalog entitled "Limitations", or simply say that there are no known defects in the data. Dick Simpson provided additional formatting corrections by email. These corrections are to be implemented. //Missing reference, Ed will send Pluto-Charon Mutual Events - Completed (except telescope identification) Add a reference to the data set catalog for the most applicable published paper(s) for the Tholen data, which gives background information to the experiment. There were differences between the Buratti data supplied to Dave and that which was in the published paper. Dave needs to talk with Bonnie Buratti and find out which one is correct. // Dave corrected file to original published values. ok. Write instrument and instrument host catalogs or find them if they aleady exist. (no instrument cats written for pal CCD's) Add a keyword to the labels to identify the telescope(s) used. Also identify in the text which data were taken with which telescope and with which CCD. Telescopes must be described in the inst host cat, and given telescope id's. //Didn't identify which data taken with which telescope. Note: Reviewers suggested that the "Plubib" bibiliography be acquired and added to this data set in a future update.
