Corrected typo in data set catalog, "This data set" rather than "This data". Remove the coverage comment from the data set overview to the data coverage and quality section. Asteroid Polarimetry (Update) //Completed Reword the awkwardly worded "Ancillary Data" section of the data set catalog. Move modification history to come right after the data set overview. Document in the label all filters listed in the data table. Convert filter wavelengths to microns. If possible, add bandpass information for filters. If that's not possible now, try to get it for the next update. Remove list of observatories from the label to its own table, with label. Augment the list of observatories to include all observatories cited in the data table. Note in the confidence level note that the apdcurv data file has no error values. Note: It was suggested to separate out the polarimetry bibiliography into its own separate data set for the next year. Discovery Cicumstances (Update) //Completed For asteroid names with diacritical marks, the marks should simply dropped in this ascii version, without adjusting the spelling. Change "Roese" back to "Rose" to comply with this. Note this policy in the data set catalog and/or data label so that users will know how to search the files. Note: Dave will correct "Roesen" to "Rosen" in his file as well, and continue to observe this policy with respect to diacritical marks, so that future updates will be consistent. Reorder the data table to place the note code before the observer name so people can see it. I. Asteroid Absolute Magnitudes (Update) //Completed Only one asteroid in this data set has a note. Take out the note from the table and put the information in the description. Put in as a NOTE keyword in the reference column object in the label. Note: Dave is compiling a file of absolute magnitudes from the literature, with quality codes assigned by him. The intent is to provide a file that is complete for the numbered asteroids. Reviewers encouraged that this file be completed and reviewed for PDS, and that it include multiple entries for asteroids with multiple observations. They suggested that the MPC values could be included in the same file as one of the entries for each asteroid. They also suggested that references be given. II. For all data sets: In labels and catalogs, when a published paper is mentioned, its full citation should be given rather than just its PDS deignation.
