Data Set Overview

This data set contains photometry radiance and noise tables for comet         
9P/Tempel 1 as derived from the IRAS Additional Observations reprocessed      
by Russell Walker (DATA/AO/IMAGES) in support of the Deep Impact Mission.     
The tables were produced by the IPAC HIRES program (MELNYKRICE1991)           
that was used to reprocess AOs.

This data set contains photometry radiance and noise tables for satellite     
observation plans and observation numbers (SOP.OBS, that is, OBSERVATION_ID)  
287.13, 407.13, 407.43, 509.40, and 510.22 at 12, 25, 60, and 100 microns.    
OBSERVATION_ID 287.13 was made pre-perhelion, the rest were post-perihelion.  
Perihelion occurred at UTC 1983-07-09T19:08:11 (Julian date 2445525.2973512). 
                                                                              
The naming convention for AO photometry tables is                             
sSOP_oOBS_BANDum_ITERATION_TYPE.tab where SOP is the satellite observation    
plan number, OBS is the observation number, BAND is band wavelength           
in microns, ITERATION is the processing  iteration number, and                
TYPE identifies a radiance or noise photometry table.                         
                                                                              
Radiance photometry and noise are in radiance units of Watts/cm^2.
