Data Set: DI/EARC-I0034-3-UH22M-TMPL1-V2.0 Review Date: 2014-08-19 Review Result: Certified with minor liens to resolve. Below are the liens for this data set: The astrometry tables were inadvertently omitted in the V2.0 dataset. They should be added back in, and the label updated to note that they do NOT cover the additional data added to V2.0. Please add a line to the dataset.cat description that pixel position of the comet is in the labels. This may need a dictionary consult off-line; it is currently in a comment in the label file. Matthew’s presentation includes a page title “Typos” that should be applied. --> Aareadme.txt, catalog listing: “and and” --> Dataset.cat --> --> Frequently uses “scope” for “telescope” (e.g. line 6 of “Data Set Overview”) --> --> Align “present?” with right column in table Processing, second par, line 1: Give reference for Landolt standard stars (and add to reference.cat) --> --> Data, line 2: delete “the” --> --> Date, 4th bullet point: “location Tempel” -> “location of Tempel” --> Support_archives.cat, do these make sense? --> --> MISSION_START_DATE = -466 --> --> MISSION_STOP_DATE = 2015 --> Docinfo.txt, ./logsheets, line 4: “This has been done by none scientists” should probably read “non-scientists?” Please extend the table found in the dataset.cat file that currently summarizes the data from V1.0 to also include the data added for V2.0. The pixels have no units. They are unitless (basically DN). Anne will send Tim an example of an image that uses UNIT = “DN”, or something similar. Richard Chen notes that there are three spurious keywords, DECLINATION_OFFSET, OFFSET_DESC (which has the pixel offsets), RIGHT_ASCENSION_OFFSET, that contain important information. Anne will help figure out the best way to preserve this information offline. PRODUCT_IDs must be unique and are not. Richard notes two files with identical start time and other information, but different filter names – one from V1.0 and one from V2.0. This needs to be investigated and resolved. ========= - Some files have the same START_TIME and STOP_TIME, even in subdir tempel1/, e.g. data/1998/UH19980122/tempel1/980122_114.lbl and .../n1_10114.lbl Those two files are similar - perhaps the main diff is FILTER_NAME. Can a user easily distinguish those two and other such pairs? ========= The voldesc.cat mentioned two catalog files not in the catalog/ directory. --> line 40: The INSTRUMENT_HOST_CATALOG referenced file "OBS376T1HOST.CAT" was not found. It should be "OBS37T1.CAT". --> line 41: The INSTRUMENT_CATALOG referenced file "I0034INST.CAT" was not found. It should be "I0034.CAT". Instrument host and instrument (and mission) catalogs need to be replaced by SBN with the most recent versions on delivery.
