Below are the liens for the following SOHO data set: SOHO-C-LASCO-5-KREUTZPHOTOM-V2.0 Note that there are still issues with getting offical MPC designations for comets being reported as found in this data set. MPC seems unmotivated to resolve this. SBN should worry about that. It will prevent further updates to this data set. o There is one comet in the photometry set that does not have images in the imaging dataset, and several with images but no photometry. There are also a few cases of the photometry data set citing images that are not in the imaging dataset. If these are errors they should be corrected; if it is intentional it should be explained. Jian Yang can supply a list. --> --> Comet listed in photometry dataset but missing in image dataset: 2007v7 --> --> Comet listed in image dataset but not in photometry dataset: 2006a4, 2006a5, 2006a6, 2006a7, 2006b2, 2006b3, 2006b5, 2006b6, 2006c1, 2006c2, 2006c3 o Image names listed in photometry dataset are not consistent with those in image dataset: 2006v2, 2007h6, 2007l6, 2009f9 o Helpful to have a table listing the number of available images for each comet o The spacecraft clock counts that are usually required for spacecraft data are missing in these data (OLAF does not appear to know about them). SBN will help investigating a) whether the data is even available; and b) if it is reasonable to include them in this data set. o Please provide the explicit error propagation formula and a description of how system uncertainties are accounted for in the error bars. file: 'catalog/dataset.cat' --> line ~25: The ABSTRACT_DESC should include the instrument name. --> line ~25: The ABSTRACT_DESC should include a brief indication of why there is a version 2.0. Perhaps that it includes more/additional data. --> line 59: The CONFIDENCE_LEVEL_NOTE is effectively empty. This should contain information about error estimates, completeness, and such as appropriate. --> Please include the calibration details from the preceding data set (Knight 2009). --> Please make mention that this data set corresponds to the v2.0 imaging data set if it does not already. --> Include a statement regarding errors for background-dominated vs. photon-limited images. directory: 'data/' --> It appears that the data from version 1.0 is missing from this data set. Please include it. --> There are consistent differences in the photometric magnitudes calculated by the reviewers vs. the photometry data set. This should be investigated. --> --> M. Kelly: My photometry agrees or is brighter. Maybe MMK has an idea why? directory: 'document/' --> It looks like there are numerous copying errors for documents that the OLAF crew copied into the V2.0 data set (missing labels, odd files, etc.) from the working copy of the V1.0 data. These will have to be resolved before archiving. --> The following files have no corresponding pds label. They may need to be attached to existing labels. file: 'NOTES/introdoc.pdf' --> The first section is more detailed than the dataset.cat file and should be incorporated there. It could be reduced by a paragraph without any loss of relevance. E.g., if the data set doesn't use the Fabry-Perot, then remove it from the description. --> There are no FITS files in the photometry data set, but the data intro refers to reading FITS files. --> Recommend splitting the introdoc to be unique to each data set instead of to both images and photometry data sets. file: 'voldesc.cat' --> Remove all ^TARGET_CATALOG files that do not exist in 'catalog/targets/'.
