Data Set Overview ================= Unidentified Emission Lines This data set contains tables of unidentified spectral emission lines and other ancillary information in a variety of comet observations. There are two different formats used for the tables. The first format is to separate all information into two tables; data and observation. This is done when the observation information cannot be paired with specific data. The second format is to have a single table when the information can be paired with the data. Parameters ========== The data is presented either as a single ASCII table with 12 columns. or as two separate ASCII tables; one for data the other for observation information. Entries that could not be found are filled with the value '999.99999' to represent there is no data for that entry. The units between different data may change and the label will have the proper units for the entry. The following are the categories you will find in the data. Wavelength; Relative Intensity; Exposure Time; Universal Time; Geocentric Distance; Heliocentric Distance; Radial Geocentric Velocity; Radial Heliocentric Velocity; Brightness; Flux; Signal-to-Noise; Equivalent Width. Media/Format ============ The data tables are given in the form of ASCII files. These tables do not use any sub- or super-script characters, and so are readable in any format. Review ====== This data has not yet been peer reviewed by PDS yet.
