[ERROR] files: ' ... /*.PDF'
--> Ensure that all PDF files should be in PDF/A-1a or PDF/A-1b format.  

[ERROR] file: 'CATALOG/DATASET.CAT'
--> The ABSTRACT_DESC needs to contain mention of the primary target of the data set.
--> The ABSTRACT_DESC needs to be more specific than simply saying "Prelanding mission phase" since there are several data sets of the same level that exist.  Suggest adding MTP number and/or date range.
--> For level 3, why are file names being mentioned.  This is an abstract, not a where-to-go for more details.
--> Update the CONFIDENCE_LEVEL_NOTE to reflect current circumstances.  For example, it currently says that this data was submitted for review in December 2007 (which is well before the data was even taken).
--> Remove the TARGET_NAME = CHECKOUT since this target is NOT found in any data product.  Remember that ONLY targets that are found in the data should be listed in this file.  For MTP009, also remove TARGET_NAME = CALIBRATION.
--> For level 3, RID #10, item #10 that VIRTIS agreed to fix was not resolved.  "The GEO files should be described in the catalog."  Putting reference in the ABSTRACT_DESC does not count (and should not be there).

[ERROR] files: 'DATA/ ... /*.LBL'
--> Several exceptions are mentioned in the ERRATA.TXT file.  It would be better to fix the issues than describe these standards exceptions.  Note that PSA is fine with these exceptions.  
--> OBSERVATION_TYPE is still set to NULL.  It is described in the ERRATA.TXT why (value not being used now), but VIRTIS needs to understand, we cannot archive the data set until it has a valid value.  If VIRTIS is not using this keyword, they should use the value "N/A".  If VIRTIS has a valid value, it should be filled in.  NULL is not appropriate.
--> For level 3, CORE_ITEM_TYPE = "REAL" is invalid.  It must be IEE_REAL, PC_REAL, or VAX_REAL.  Which is dependent upon how the data is stored.
