Liens List from New Horizons P3 June 2017 review for: NH-P-ALICE-2-PLUTO-V3.0 NH-P-ALICE-3-PLUTO-V3.0 File: Instrument labels --> There are problems in solar geometric distance, which will affect the labels of the instrument. This need to be fixed. Solar and geometric distances are the same in data labels. File: aareadme.txt --> Period/punctuation use is random in the Volume Contents organization table. --> Alan Stern's conrtact listing doesn't give the SsRI abbreviation like Tiffany Finley's does. File: catalog/alice.cat --> In INSTRUMENT OVERVIEW, Description, Rosetta in the present tense as a current mission. --> In Scientific Objectives, the punctuation is random in the listing of the Objectives. File: catalog/nhsc.cat --> Description: Wavelengh coverage of Alice detector is not mentionaed in the nhsc.cat file. Recomended Solution: Add wavelength covergae of Alice detector, as was done for other NH instruments. File: catalog/dataset.cat --> "Pixel List", "Pixel list", "pixel list", and "pixellist" are used interchangeably. --> In ABSTRACT_DESC, typo in the word calibrated in the phrase "calibration file (pa_aeff_007.txt) changed the calbrated data". --> TARGET_NAME = "RHO LEO" but in the index files (index.tab and slimindx.tab) both "RHO LEO" and "RHOLEO" are used. --> All TARGET_NAMEs found in the 'data/' directory should be found within this file. Currently there appears to be a mix up with target_name values in the data labels. Please resolve and confirm this list. Also note that "N/A" should be removed from this list and never included when you have other valid targets listed. --> Note that if 'HD 93521' is a valid value for TARGET_NAME, that we will need to add it to the PDSDD. --> Description: The file pa_aeff_007.txt mentioned in dataset.cat does not exist. Recomended Solution: Replace pa_aeff_007.txt with by pa_aeff_007.tab. File: calib/calinfo.txt --> Suggest a LABEL_REVISION_NOTE be added or change the PUBLICATION_DATE, clearly it has changed since 2007-09-11. --> pa_aeff_socc_001.tab is superseded yet still has an "*" indicating its current use in the pipeline, which need to be remove. --> For posterity, were there ever pa_wave_001, pa_aeff_001, 002, or 003 files? --> to punctuate or not, that is the question File: calib/pa_aeff_004.lbl --> In DESCRIPTION end of first prargraph, incomplete thought. --> DESCRIPTION: "N.B. this product is has been superseded..." should just be "this product has been superseded by..." File: calib/pa_aeff_005.lbl --> Consider noting that this file is superseded. File: calib/pa_aeff_socc_001&002 --> Consider noting that these files are for the 2 x 2 SOCC. File: data/*/*.lbl --> Many target names are different (not necessarily spelling) between FITS header and PDS label. For example "SPICA" or "VEGA" vs "STAR". Please use the actual name. Note that the PDS-SBN would prefer that use 'SPICA' or 'RHO LEO' instead of 'STAR'. Any well known star target should be spelled out and not use the generic STAR target. It appears that several TARGET_NAME values have changed since the last delivery. Also, the target listed in the FITS header appears to be more specific (i.e. "SPICA" vs "STAR"). File: Documents (ICD and CODMAC) --> Make sure there are no web links in the documents ... i.e. ICD and CODMAC doc, etc. (general lien for all NH) File: document/seq_alice_pluto(cruise).tab --> Description: The Charon occultation egress sequence is missing from the files Seq_alice_pluto(cruise).tab. Recommended Solution: Insert details of Charon occulation egree. File: index/index.lbl --> File breaks down after column 11 for accurately describing the index table. Line 161: BYTES = 28 should be 21. Subsequent START_BYTEs are off.Oddly, RECORD_BYTES and ROW_BYTES are correct as they are. File: index/*ind*.tab --> File contains TARGET_NAME values that are not listed in the data label. For example: 'data/20160715_033091/ali_0330918179_0x4b2_eng.lbl' states "STAR", but in the PDS index and FITS header it states "SPICA". Note that PDS-SBN would prefer to use the name found in the index and FITS header over the generic ones currently present in the PDS data label. File: index/slimindx.tab & .lbl --> Slim index file has 4 columns but the label describes 3 - cut and paste error when trimming the index file, grabbed too much real estate. There are column labeling errors in the index file which need to be checked and resolved
